In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within our semiconductor facility, including HVAC systems, gas distribution networks, and other critical infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of our facility, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems such as boilers, chillers, and cooling towers. Manage compressed dry air (CDA) compressors, house vacuum pumps, air scrubbers, acid waste neutralization systems, and gas distribution systems.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors to oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring all work meets facility standards and is completed efficiently.
Building Management: Utilize the Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) Building Management System to monitor and control facility operations, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Project Support: Assist in both project-based and ongoing facility operations, including preventive maintenance and training initiatives. Support the installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to cleanroom operations.
Emergency Response: Actively participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) events and training sessions, ensuring preparedness for any facility-related emergencies.
General Facility Upkeep: Conduct general maintenance tasks such as replacing lighting fixtures, repairing and painting walls, installing gas lines, managing pump lines, and changing filters to maintain a safe and functional environment.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in HVAC, equipment maintenance, or facilities technician roles, preferably within a semiconductor or similar high-tech environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate and maintain complex facility systems.
