Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Federal Tax Attorney with 5 to 15 years of experience advising on U.S. federal tax matters, particularly in cross-border tax issues for high-net-worth individuals and business entities. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal guidance on a wide range of U.S. federal business and personal tax issues, working with clients ranging from multinational corporations to emerging technology companies, as well as high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on U.S. federal tax matters, including cross-border tax planning and compliance.
• Provide tax counsel to Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses, investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Assist clients with tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other complex business transactions.
• Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance with federal tax regulations.
• Represent clients in tax audits, disputes, and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Stay updated on federal tax law changes and assess their impact on clients' tax strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of experience advising on U.S. federal tax matters, with an emphasis on cross-border tax issues.
• JD from an accredited law school, with a focus on tax law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal tax regulations for both business entities and individuals.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, multinational corporations, and business entities on tax-related matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple clients and projects.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
