We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team, where you will support financial analysis for an assigned department or plant to ensure financial objectives are met. Day-to-Day Role

Associate level will:

• Propose guidance on financial matters for consideration
• Understand the business goals and objectives, and assist in developing financial plans to deliver the financial objectives of the company including cost, revenue and margin targets for the business
• Assist in preparing and monitoring financial forecasts for the monthly IBP process and annual AOP process
• Learn to interpret financial reports, including variances vs. AOP, prior year and prior months
• Help analyze business performance and financial data, which may include customer pricing and incentive programs, cost center reports, activity rates, variances, inventory valuation, and logistics costs
• Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for business performance and key drivers to leadership
• Assist in preparing financial analysis for scenarios that optimize financial performance, including proposals for new initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment opportunities
• Participate in cross-functional projects with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams
• Learn industry trends, competitors and market conditions, and provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making for consideration
• Collaborate with Power BI, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistency of data across company

 

In addition to the above, Mid-level will:

• Help to interpret financial reports, including variances vs. AOP, prior year and prior months
• Analyze business performance and financial data, which may include customer pricing and incentive programs, cost center reports, activity rates, variances, inventory valuation, and logistics costs
• Assist in preparing regular financial reports and presentations to communicate business performance and key drivers to senior management and other stakeholders
• Assist in preparing financial analysis for scenarios that optimize financial performance, including proposals for new initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment opportunities
• Propose ROI analyses (NPV, IRR, payback) for projects such as new products, capacity expansion, and automation
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors and market conditions, and provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making for consideration

 

In addition to the above, Senior level will:

• Prepare and monitor financial forecasts for the monthly IBP process and annual AOP process 
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations to communicate business performance and key drivers to senior management and other stakeholders
• Prepare financial analysis for scenarios that optimize financial performance, including proposals for new initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment opportunities
• Develop ROI analyses (NPV, IRR, payback) for significant capital spend projects such as new products, capacity expansion, and automation

 

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal Associate level candidate must possess all of the following:

 

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business, or related field of study
• Financial analysis and modeling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships
• Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
• Functional/technical skills including problem solving, drive for results, decision quality, interpersonal savvy, strategic agility and innovative thinking

 

The ideal Mid-level candidate must possess all of the following:

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in FP&A or related role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

 

The ideal Senior level candidate must possess all of the following:

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in FP&A or related role 

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications for both levels:

• Experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred
• Experience in the Food Service and National Accounts industry
