Job Description

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa , located on Sanibel Island, is seeking an enthusiastic Food Runner to join our fabulous team. Candidates must be hardworking, have a strong work-ethic, and be a responsible team player.

  Essential Functions:

• Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties
• 100% responsibility for quality guests’ experience
• Transports food from kitchen to guest using correct table numbers and seat positions.
• Set up all condiments and kitchen expo line
• Complete assigned side work and closing duties
• Expedites all orders from the hot, cold and sushi windows.
• Communicates with servers, bartenders, and kitchen
• Helps pre-bussing tables
• Helps returning full dish tubs back to the kitchen
• Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
• Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department
• Be familiar with resort services, amenities, and outlets

Required Skills:

• Must be able to carry a tray of food and dishes weighing up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Work schedule will include evening, weekends and holidays.
