LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of one of the largest and most recognized companies in the global frozen food industry. They are seeking a  Food Safety and Quality Manager to manage their team in Appleton, WI.
The Food Safety and Quality Manager will lead a tenured food safety team and oversee implementation and management of all food safety and quality assurance programs. The ideal candidate will be a strong manager of people and bring proven food quality and safety experience from a food or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
Food Safety and Quality Manager Responsibilities

• Lead plant wide food safety and quality activities across all phases of production
• Lead the deployment of quality strategy at the site, driving continuous improvement initiatives and standardizing best practices across operations
• Oversee food safety incidents at the site level, determining the appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Responsible for the communication of new or updated regulatory policies
• Assist in the development and deployment of food safety and quality training programs
• Supervise daily activities of department personnel, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with quality standards
• Emphasize team development through coaching, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

Food Safety and Quality Manager Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline required
• 7+ years of management experience in a food safety and quality role
• Strong people management experience – ability to lead, grow, and mentor large teams
