We are seeking skilled Forklift and Cherry Picker Operators to join our client's team for early morning shifts (5am and 6 am start times.) The ideal candidates will hold a 1, 4, 5 CERT and have a proven track record in the safe and efficient operation of these machines. Responsibilities include receiving and shipping merchandise, maintaining order and safety in shipping areas, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to move and organize merchandise.
• Participate in the receiving and shipping of all merchandise.
• Assist warehouse managers and supervisors with tasks, sorting, and placing merchandise in proper stock areas.
• Maintain shipping areas in neat and orderly conditions; ensure all equipment is kept in safe and efficient locations.
• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise on delivery trucks.
• Follow safety policies and procedures, report accidents according to company policy.
• Keep managers and supervisors informed of shortages, overloads, damaged merchandise, and inventory control issues.
• Assume responsibility for workplace safety of self and co-workers.
• Remain courteous and service-minded while dealing with employees and customers.
• Maintain a neat appearance in accordance with company dress code policy.
• Ensure punctuality and regular, reliable attendance.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Protect and maintain confidentiality of company trade secrets and other proprietary information.
• Complete projects and assignments on time.
• Attend department meetings and training as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

Requirements:

• Valid 1, 4, 5 CERT for forklift and cherry picker operation.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable with the ability to follow instructions without constant supervision.
• Proficient with computer skills.
• Ability to create a positive and productive working relationship with employees and customers.
• Work independently using effective problem-solving skills.
• May be required to work some Saturdays for inventory.
• Superior organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professionalism in time management and meeting deadlines.
• Able to manage multiple, complex tasks and projects.
