About the Role:

DigniFi is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Fraud Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization against fraudulent activities. You will leverage your analytical skills and industry knowledge to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, ensuring the integrity of our operations and the security of our customers' information.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of transactional data to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies indicative of fraud
  • Utilize advanced fraud detection tools and techniques to monitor and investigate suspicious activities across multiple channels
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Risk Management, Operations, and Customer Support to mitigate fraud risks effectively.
  • Review alerts and reports generated by automated fraud detection systems, taking prompt action to investigate and resolve flagged incidents
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and controls, continuously enhancing our fraud detection capabilities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in fraud detection and prevention.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on fraud incidents, investigations, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on fraud awareness and prevention measures.

Who You Are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Fraud Analyst role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proven experience in fraud detection and prevention, preferably in the financial services sector or a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns indicative of fraudulent activities.
  • Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and software; familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fraud prevention, including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, is preferred.
  • Certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or similar is a plus.

Where You Will Work:

This position is remote, subject to change.

Salary:
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 a year. DigniFi salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience. Please note that the compensation details listed in postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
