Job Description

We are looking for a Dispatcher who will handle daily coordination of freight shipments. We're an expanding and growing company with a great opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. Great benefits and bonus as well!

Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the pickup, delivery, and tracking of freight orders
Match arrival notices, dispatch orders to drayage, document, and invoice
Track shipments to ensure timely delivery
Maintain communication with customers, carriers, and other transportation personnel
Monitor and update order status in the transportation management system
Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
Communicate any delays or other potential issues to the customer
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements and Qualifications
5+ years of freight dispatching experience required
Freight forwarding experience preferred
College degree preferred
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Proficient in transportation management systems and other related software
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
