We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote role with our client in West Chester, PA. Compensation depends on experience level. 8+ years of full-stack development working with TypeScript, GraphQL, Angular, React, and Node.js is required.
The Full Stack Engineer will lead the development of APIs and integrations, ensuring the seamless connection of our internal systems and partner SaaS tools. This role will be heavily hands-on in development, while also collaborating with the CTO on architectural decisions to scale and optimize our commerce ecosystem.
As a Backend/Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in expanding and maintaining the compay API ecosystem, internal tooling, and third-party SaaS integrations. You will be responsible for backend architecture recommendations, API performance optimization, and implementation of best-in-class development practices to ensure scalability and reliability.
This role will involve leading remote contractors on specific development tasks, while also contributing directly to hands-on development in TypeScript, GraphQL, Angular, React, and Node.js. ● Develop and optimize APIs and integrations that power eCommerce platform, including order management, fulfillment, marketing, analytics, and customer experience tools.
● Enhance and maintain the API layer, working closely with the CTO to recommend architecture improvements while ensuring high performance and scalability.
● Lead API integrations with key SaaS partners, including Aftership (fulfillment tracking), Klaviyo (email/SMS), A/B testing tools, GA4 (analytics), Contentstack (CMS), and Cloudinary (image management).
● Lead remote engineering contractors in executing development tasks and implementing best practices in API development.
●8+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on API development and integrations.
● Expertise in TypeScript, GraphQL, Angular, and Node.js.
● Experience with AWS, serverless architecture, and Kubernetes for cloud infrastructure.
● Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring API health.
● Hands-on experience integrating SaaS tools, particularly in commerce environments.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend scalable architectural solutions.
● Experience leading remote engineering teams or contractors in executing development tasks.
● Proficiency in backend test automation frameworks to enhance system reliability.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
● Experience working with distributed engineering teams and agile development processes.
