Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Grinder position with a company in Tulsa, Ok.
The Grinder will be responsible for grinding and preparing parts for assembly, ensuring they meet all quality standards and specifications. This role plays a key part in the production process, requiring precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (returning to these hours after Labor Day)
Compensation: $19-$22/hr, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grinding tasks according to shop travelers and instructions.
• Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality, meeting company standards.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the Team Leader or Master Builder promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to seventy-five pounds.
• Engage in frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Proficient in operating hand tools, including grinders, for preparing parts.
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools.
• Ability to thrive and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• At least 3 years of on-the-job experience performing Grinding job duties.
• Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/16th.
