CDL Class A Heavy Haul Driver We are looking for an experienced Heavy Haul CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting oversized and heavy equipment using a variety of trailers, including low-bed, step-deck, and multi-axle configurations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment transport, load securement, and route planning to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain heavy haul trucks and trailers for oversized load transportLoad, secure, and transport heavy equipment in compliance with DOT regulationsConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working conditionPlan and navigate routes, considering weight restrictions, permits, and escort requirementsAccurately complete daily logs, inspection forms, and load documentationAssess site conditions, terrain, and weather to ensure safe loading and unloadingCommunicate effectively with dispatch, job site personnel, and escort driversPerform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with experience in heavy haul trucking2-5 years of experience hauling oversized loads with low-bed or multi-axle trailersAbility to drive manual transmissionClean 5-year driving record (required)Knowledge of load securement, weight distribution, and permit regulationsStrong attention to safety, time management, and problem-solving Preferred Experience: Experience in forestry or construction equipment haulingMechanical knowledge for basic truck and trailer maintenance This is a great opportunity for a skilled Heavy Haul Driver looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and a team-oriented environment.
