Job Description

Home Care Aide Job Summary:
A person, under professional supervision, who provides home support for elderly or dependent persons.
Work in your desired service area.
Bonuses$$$ available for extra shifts worked, no call-offs, and last-minute shift acceptance.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Assists with daily activities at individual's home including personal hygiene.
Performs tasks including but not limited to making beds, light laundry, preparing meals, washing dishes, ironing, cleaning, bathing, dressing, etc.
Helps client up and down stairs, in and out of bed, etc.
Offers medication reminders
Visits several households to provide similar daily care as needed.
Updates family/caregiver about status of individual being cared for.
Follows client's rights at all times.
Records each activity performed on each case on a daily basis.
Reports any incidents or client changes immediately.
Submits Daily Activity Sheets and record accurately in a timely manner.
Follows instructions, is punctual and is at work as scheduled.
Follows all appropriate Organization policies.
Attends in-service education per organization policy.
Attends staff meetings as required.
Provides all information required for the maintenance of her/his personnel record as per State regulations and Organization policy.
Does not supervise others.
