Job Description

Criterium Liszkay Engineers is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Building and Home Inspector to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing and inspecting various buildings to ensure they meet safety standards and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties, preparing detailed inspection reports, and providing recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure a clear understanding of inspection results and necessary actions.

This position offers a mix of fieldwork, report writing, and client interaction, making it a great opportunity for those who enjoy diverse tasks within the inspection, architecture and engineering industry.

Requirements

• Ohio Home Inspection License is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in building inspection or related fields.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and inspection processes.
• Must be Detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and technologies.
• Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, attics, and crawl spaces.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must enjoy engaging with clients and providing excellent customer service.
