Holiday Inn Philadelphia Stadium Area in Philadelphia, PA is looking for one hotel houseman to join our 61 person strong team. We are located on 2033 Penrose Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Houseman must clean common areas of the hotel including the front entrance, lobby, public restrooms, elevators, guest hallways, fitness center, employee break room and bathroom and all meeting rooms. Houseman should demonstrate good customer service skills and complete tasks in a timely manner. Houseman may be required to lift heavy items (sometimes up stairs); interact with guest in a professional/helpful manner; operate vacuums and use different types of cleaning solutions.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience
• Preferably 6 months experience in cleaning or janitorial related hotel/motel field
• Wear uniform per hotel standards; adhere to professional grooming standards
• Clean common areas per hotel standards and hotel provided training
• Straighten furniture
• Empty trash and recycling bins in all public spaces
• Check stairwells for debris and trash
• Ensure all equipment in fitness room is clean and functional
• Wipe down surfaces and clean microwave in employee break area
• Engage every guest in conversation and recognition
• Resolve any guest issue immediately
• Promote the hotel by demonstrating high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests
• Ability to anticipate guests needs
• Represents the hotel to the guest throughout any stage of the guest's stay
• Embraces and respects diversity and multicultural environment
