Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hotel House Person at SpringHill Suites Cheraw. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Hospitality industry located in Cheraw, South Carolina. As a House Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. This individual contributor role offers a competitive hourly rate of $11 to $13 per hour, paid biweekly. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas including lobby, restrooms, hallways, and banquet rooms
• Cleaning and restocking guest amenities and supplies in designated areas
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and events
• Delivering requested items to guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner
• Responding promptly to guest requests and concerns and resolving issues to their satisfaction
• Assisting with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Adhering to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience
• Providing exceptional customer service to all guests and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
