Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. • Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements
• Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques
• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions

Qualifications:

• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
