As Propio expands, we are looking for a motivated HR Specialist to help support our people and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for employee experience, and can effectively navigate HR functions to support our workforce. This position requires a general background in HR functions and the ability to assist complex projects with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted associate to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the People Team in driving employee experience and retention.
Manage a shared HR inbox for employee inquiries and requests.
Assist with employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
Support talent management efforts, including but not limited to onboarding.
Verify compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring HR best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives.
Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
Ensure data integrity within HR systems and perform regular system audits.
Stay current with HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in HR processes.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year HR experience
Baseline knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Experience in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
Qualifications
Ability to work onsite in our Overland Park office.
Easily adjusts to changing priorities and business needs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
