Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the electrical systems that power our 24/7 production facility. This role combines hands-on electrical expertise with problem-solving skills to ensure manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure operate at peak performance. You will perform preventive maintenance, resolve complex electrical and electronic challenges, and collaborate on facility upgrades and engineering projects.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, and repair electrical and electronic circuits, systems, and controls to support production. 

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using testing equipment, schematics, and industry best practices. 

• Follow National and Local Electrical Code guidelines and manufacturer specifications. 

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. 

• Address and resolve issues with facility infrastructure and production equipment to support continuous operations. 

• Collaborate with engineering teams on projects, upgrades, and enhancements for facility and operations equipment. .

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using internet resources, technical manuals, phone support and email.

• Act as a resource for complex electrical and electronic challenges on cross-functional projects. 

• Support facility operations by performing team tasks and auxiliary assignments.

 

Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency.

• Journeyman Electrician Certification.

• 4 year of trade school, technical school, junior college, or equivalent vocational prep.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as an electrician.

• Master Electrician Certification.

• Familiarity with PLC systems

• Previous experience with Microsoft Office products.

• Comfort with basic mathematics such as decimals, metric units, and dimensions.
