Job Description

The candidate should also have MIS Business Analysis experience from a small firm or financial start-up, where they are comfortable working across all of the firm's business areas and can be nimble to respond to changing business application priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous support for the firm's investment and operational process, procedures, and controls
• Assist in programming for onboarding and implementing information systems and applications
• Support the IT infrastructure of an active investment manager
• Work closely with business units, (portfolio managers, risk managers, operations, and technology) to understand business requirements
• Author business requirements and manage the implementation with IT and the business
• Perform functional testing of all technology enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years working in business analyst roles with an alternative investment firm or small hedge fund.
• Must have a deep understanding of end-to-end investment operations lifecycle
• Must understand software development principles
• Must have hands-on current programming skills to support the technology team
• Must have hands-on experience working with investment information systems such as Geneva, Dynamo, Backstop, Dealcloser, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Tableau
• Financial Start-up BA experience a plus
• Must have superior communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work independently to achieve results
