About Slate Slate is a new US Electric Vehicle company transforming the battery electric vehicle space.
Who we are looking for: As the Internal Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in spearheading strategic development and execution of internal company messaging, reporting directly to the Head of Public Relations and Communications. You will collaborate across the organization and take responsibility for the company intranet, connect team members virtually, and measure sentiment and feedback to create iterative communications processes. This role offers the opportunity to combine your passion for internal company storytelling to help shape the success of our brand.
What you get to do: - Lead the company internal communications workstreams, i.e. all-hands meetings, newsletters, executive communications.
- Refine the internal company voice and tone, working with Brand Marketing.
- Assist in the ongoing measurement and analysis of brand performance, including awareness, sentiment, and engagement metrics.
- Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities that enhance our brand's presence.
- Align internal and external communications objectives, working with the PR, Social Media, Growth, and Experiential teams.
What you bring to the team: - Bachelor's degree or experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- 7+ years leading internal communications
- Senior-level experience defining and articulating a brand's unique voice and distilling complex goals and topics into digestible communications
- Experience writing, editing, and publishing internal communication materials
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams and guiding projects through various departments, including creative, social, and growth.
- Must love cars! You'll be thinking about cars all day every day, and it's the most fun when you love cars.
Location: Remote is acceptable.
Base Salary: US wide $86,746.68 to $163,543.92.
