We pride ourselves on delivering innovative electrical and technology solutions across the United States.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to manage and optimize the inventory processes for our residential and multifamily divisions. The successful candidate will play a key role in transitioning our inventory management to a system-based process and working closely with our ERP implementation team. This is a dynamic role that will evolve as the company migrates to new systems and processes, offering significant opportunities for growth and development.

  • Conduct regular reviews of inventory levels, ensuring alignment between expenses, usage, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyze top inventory items and perform monthly reviews of the top 20 items across divisions, with deeper quarterly analysis of the top 5.
  • Collaborate with division managers to ensure accuracy and consistency in inventory tracking and reporting.

ERP Implementation Support :

  • Act as a key contributor in the transition to the Dynamics 365 ERP system, with a focus on the inventory module.
  • Work closely with the D365 team to implement real-time tracking of inventory, streamlining current manual processes.
  • Assist in defining and setting up material items, pricing, and tracking methods within the new ERP system.

Cost Management & Optimization :

  • Monitor and manage inventory costs, ensuring optimal stock levels while controlling expenses.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or unusual spikes in inventory usage, coordinating with division managers for resolution.
  • Provide recommendations for improving the current inventory process, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Create and maintain detailed inventory reports, providing visibility into stock levels, usage patterns, and cost trends.
  • Assist with developing monthly KPIs and metrics for division reporting.
  • Support quarter-end inventory analysis and provide insights to senior management on any discrepancies or issues.

Cross-Department Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with warehouse managers, division managers, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate physical counts and proper handling of inventory.
  • Assist in the development of streamlined processes between purchasing and AP to enhance inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related analytical role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in construction, particularly in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC industries preferred, but not required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP platforms, with experience in Dynamics 365 being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20% to various divisions for inventory audits and process evaluations.
