Summary: We are a small, growing technology team that assists users with questions and issue resolution, manages technology systems, security, devices, networks, and peripherals. We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT professional to oversee and ensure the efficient operation of our computing systems and IT infrastructure, including working with our third-party software support vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a small internal team, MSP, and technology vendors. Provide training, mentoring, resolve escalations, and recommend continuous enhancements.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot user devices, software, servers, systems, security configurations, security cameras and gates, networks, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage ticket assignment, completion, and escalations with partners and internal solutions. Handle system alerts, escalations, licensing, etc., collaborating with the team to balance current tasks and projects.
• Lead projects and contribute to other team members’ projects to achieve department and company goals.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, and maintenance with users, vendors, and partners.
• Manage MDM for Windows/iOS/Android TVs, including software deployments, OEM/Microsoft/Apple/3rd party updates, imaging, scripting, and automation.
• Improve device backup solutions, UPS, servers, and printer management.
• Manage business continuity planning, documentation, and testing.
• Provide high-level customer service and technical support to all office locations and remote staff.
• Manage user and device onboarding and offboarding, license management, and provide technology education to users.
• Create and modify documentation for users and technical reference, including image editing and technical writing.
• Optimize and enhance processes and systems, auditing existing systems to improve management and security.
• Responsible for purchasing and evaluating hardware and software.
• Collaborate and lead in a team environment, work independently to complete tasks with minimal oversight, and introduce new ideas for efficiency improvements with a focus on security and an agile mindset.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English are desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and climb ladders up to 20’ in a manufacturing environment, supporting technology in areas with dust, noise, and various environmental conditions, following safety requirements.
• Support business technology needs with occasional work outside of normal business hours to assist with technology upgrades and problem resolution.
• Prioritize and balance distractions to provide end-user education (one-on-one and small group settings), research and solve technology issues, manage projects and tickets, and coordinate with third-party vendors.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environment management, including Azure, Entra, Exchange, Defender, Intune, MFA, Policies, Security, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Experience managing network and firewall administration (Meraki, Unifi, SonicWall, etc.).
• Windows server administration (on-prem and cloud solutions), including Active Directory, GPO, application, and file share management and security.
• Experience triaging and troubleshooting enterprise devices, peripherals, systems, cabling, etc.
• Responsible for team documentation, standardization, and creating scalable and redundant solutions and systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Desire to provide exceptional operational support and troubleshooting while balancing end-user questions and requests with higher-level systems administration and project leadership.
• Strong desire to improve system monitoring, remediation, prevention, and automation to increase proactive management of systems and devices, enhancing system stability and end-user satisfaction.
• Experience defining and managing implementations for technology solutions and assisting with defining, implementing, and managing process improvements.
Physical Requirements:
• The Company includes an on-site manufacturing operation that utilizes third-party software which requires occasionally working extended periods outdoors and/ or in the manufacturing buildings.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
