Job Title: Junior Electrical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analyzing electronic schematics, comparing them with PCBs, and ensuring design accuracy. Your role will involve modifying legacy PCB designs, creating mockup diagrams, and debugging and testing the electronics portion of our products. Responsibilities + Read and interpret electronic schematics, including component specifications, to understand circuit functions. + Compare schematics with PCBs to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency. + Modify legacy PCB designs by reviewing them and providing approval or identifying design issues. + Create mockup diagrams for visualization and design purposes. + Debug and test the electronics portion of products to ensure functionality and reliability. Essential Skills + Experience in reading and interpreting schematics with an understanding of component specifications. + Knowledge of circuit theory and ability to understand circuit functions beyond recognizing signals. + Experience with switchers and switching power supplies. + Proficiency in using microcontrollers and familiarity with protocols like Ethernet, USB, and I2C. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working with display systems such as LCD screens, LED displays, monitors, and touchscreens. + Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus. Work Environment You will be working on-site from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM in Carson, CA. You will be part of a small Electrical Engineering department within a larger technical office, collaborating with various departments including testing and manufacturing. The role is a 6-month contract position, with potential for extension based on performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
