Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI applications using Python and relevant frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain web applications using Django.
• Implement and fine-tune language models and machine learning algorithms.
• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent and scalable deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
• Lead and manage small-scale AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Document technical processes and provide support for deployed applications.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corporation to achieve common goals.

Education & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent degree.
• Proven experience in Python programming and web development using Django.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of language models, machine learning algorithms, and AI systems.

Skills

• Expert proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in web application development using Django.
• Deep knowledge of implementing language models and machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with other AI systems and frameworks.
• Leadership capabilities to manage small-scale projects and guide team members.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively with other members of Coherent Corporation to achieve common goals. Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
