Key Responsibilities:Fraud Detection: Monitor and review transactions for signs of suspicious activity using fraud detection tools and techniques.
Data Analysis: Analyze transaction data and customer profiles to identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent behavior.
Investigation: Conduct initial investigations into flagged transactions or activities, gathering relevant information and documentation.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on suspicious activities and investigations, providing recommendations for further action.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior fraud analysts and other departments to ensure effective fraud prevention measures are in place.
Compliance: Ensure all fraud-related activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to verify transactions and resolve issues related to suspected fraud.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with fraud detection software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and customer interaction.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and fraud detection methods.
