Salary: $53,950 - 97,525 per year Requirements:

• I require a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical/engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
• I expect educational or professional experience in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
• You should be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• I need demonstrated experience in effectively communicating within a team environment.
• You will need to showcase resourcefulness by using problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• I prefer candidates who are residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• I require that all candidates be United States Citizens.

Responsibilities:

• As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with other reliability engineers on large programs associated with the DoD, DARPA, NASA, and commercial applications. Your key tasks will include:
• Performing RAM analyses such as reliability prediction, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), reliability block diagrams (RBD), Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), obsolescence, etc.
• Developing requirements specifications derived from customer needs.
• Interfacing with program management and design engineers to support the program’s systems engineering needs throughout its design life cycle, which includes modeling system behavior, defining the system architecture, dictating system interfaces, performing requirements verification, helping develop test programs, and maintaining configuration management.

We favor candidates with experience in other systems engineering areas such as Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Analyses, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, and Risk Management. However, a BS in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering is what is required for this position.

The pay range for this position is $53,950.00 - $97,525.00. Please note that this range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
