Webuild ( is actively seeking a Land Surveyor / Survey Manager to take the helm of our rapidly expanding land surveying group with a diverse portfolio of land survey projects spanning across the greater Illinois and Indiana marketplaces.

The ideal candidate for this pivotal role should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in performing and directing survey design for land development, grading, and construction staking projects. Proficiency in handling all in-office surveying tasks is essential, including the preparation of information for field crews working on commercial, mixed-use, and residential development projects.

As the Survey Department Manager, your responsibilities will entail leading a team in the preparation of boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA surveys, and topographical surveys for a wide array of projects. You will play a crucial role in setting up field crews, analyzing field data, drafting, and collaborating with engineering staff as necessary to ensure the timely completion of projects for clients.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics or a related field. Additionally, State of Illinois and/or Indiana Professional Land Surveyor Registrations (PLS) are required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with proficiency in Civil 3D.
