Canepa is seeking an experienced in-house landscaper / groundkeeper. This individual will be
responsible for maintaining a clean, professional appearance of company grounds and CEO personal
home yard by keeping hedges trimmed, lawn manicured, and pathways clean from debris. The ideal
candidate has a thorough understanding of landscaping and irrigation, including horticultural
knowledge. Canepa will provide the necessary tools and equipment needed for optimal maintenance.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure site(s) are presentable, free of debris and clean at all times.
Maintain lawn, garden and vegetation areas including planting, fertilizing, weeding, mulching
and applying pesticides when necessary.
Planting, trimming and removal of trees, hedges, flowers, grass and/or other plants as needed.
Maintain water fountains, fences/gates, outdoor lighting and other design features.
Leaf sweeping, raking and removal of debris or unwanted/unhealthy plants.
Cleans, maintains, and repairs (or coordinates repairs) of tools and equipment used.
Maintains appropriate documentation of work completed including keeping logs of watering
and chemical spraying, materials used, time spent, etc.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years’ previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
• Well-versed with standard hand tools, power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Familiar with gardening techniques
• Familiar with sprinkler and irrigation systems
• Punctuality and ability to work on an individual basis with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Strictly adheres to all company safety policy and procedures.
• Strong communication skills. Able to follow and understand detailed oral and written
instructions.
• Physically able to lift 50-75 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Clean driving record.
