As a Server at Denny's, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. From greeting and seating customers to ensuring prompt order placement and offering suggestive selling techniques, you will be at the heart of our service excellence.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers, take orders, and apply suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues.
• Inform management of safety hazards, complaints, or problems.
• Adhere to company standards and policies for ordering, sanitation, and stocking.
• Offer suggestive selling to enhance the guest check average
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with guests
• Perform cleaning, stocking, and side work duties
• Assist other service personnel as needed

Accountabilities:

• Ensure customers are served in a pleasant and courteous manner
• Accuracy in order entry and delivery

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive standing, bending, reaching, and walking
• Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours
• Handling trays of food products and operating cash register
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Qualifications Standards:

• Above standard verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills and guest-oriented personality
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and ability to work under stress
• Excellent physical condition for the demands of the job
• Flexibility, adaptability, and compliance with health regulations
