We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Goodyear, AZ. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to neonates and newborns, supporting the NICU and newborn nursery. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in neonatal care. As a Nurse Practitioner you will provide comprehensive neonatal care during 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Manage and care for newborns and neonates in a Level 2 NICU and newborn nursery setting. Perform and assist with 30+ transports as needed. Collaborate with the in-house OB team, available 24/7, to ensure seamless patient care. Support the feeding of Arrowhead newborns. Manage daily patient loads of 3-6 in a 6-bed NICU and newborn nursery. Participate in the care of patients with a C-section rate of 30%. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
