Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Canton, GA
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000

This is a FULL-TIME position, working in our Canton, GA plant.

We have been in business for over 160 years and have over 1,000 employees! We are currently doing well. Over the last 2 years, we have increased our headcount by 12% in our engineering group. Position Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and equipment used in the manufacturing of products. This role works on the full scope of manufacturing operations from product design to the production process. The Manufacturing Engineer II ensures that processes and equipment are optimized to produce products efficiently and with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design manufacturing systems and processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Design tools, fixtures, and molds for fabrication of parts.
• Participate in process improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Develop and implement process control procedures.
• Develop quality control standards and procedures.
• Document and review manufacturing processes.
• Train and supervise manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 14001, TS-16949, IATF 15949, PFMEA, and FMEA.
• Coordinate new product launches.
• Design and implement production layouts.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Preferably Manufacturing Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, SolidWorks, Six Sigma, Welding, and Manufacturing.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, and FMEA.
• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs (ERP and CAD).
