Job Summary:
Skills and Tools 1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker. Knowledge of SQL for database querying. Knowledge & experience in Nielsen Mintel databases
2. Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms. Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets.
3. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the CPG industry and its unique challenges. Understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics.
4. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to convey complex findings in an understandable manner. Problemsolving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Job Description:
JD / Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Management: Gather data from various sources including sales data market research customer feedback and social media. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
2. Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights. Use statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to predict consumer behaviour and sales performance.
3. Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Prepare reports and presentations to summarize insights and recommend actions.
4. Collaboration: Work with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and supply chain to implement datadriven strategies. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytics needs.
5. Optimization and Forecasting: Optimize pricing promotions and product assortments based on data insights. Forecast demand and manage inventory to minimize costs and maximize availability.
