We're seeking an Event Marketing leader passionate about supporting growth, driving brand awareness, and creating great experiences for prospects, customers, and recruits. This high-visibility role enables you to collaborate with all levels and groups across the organization while also being hands-on in bringing each event to life. You should be results-driven, focusing on growing new business and retaining existing customers.

Your day involves collaboration with the line of business and go-to-market teams, where you will plan and execute all event experiences (live and virtual) to create comprehensive thought leadership for customers and prospects. You bring a blend of tactical expertise, superior project management skills, and a strategic perspective around events and the audiences who attend them.
This role requires a seasoned event professional to manage industry and company-hosted experiences across North America. To achieve a fully integrated events program, you will align closely with the global marketing team (campaigns, content, web, and design.)

Hybrid onsite: (Must be three days onsite - Berkeley Heights, NJ)
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Utilize exceptional project management skills to deliver events aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Serve as a strong leader with effective communication skills and an outcome-driven mindset - utilizing the full event pipeline across audience acquisition to customer retention efforts - whilst maximizing lead and data capturing and reporting.
  • Ensure all stakeholders work together to deliver a high-quality event with maximized ROI.
  • Manage events from ideation to post-event analysis. Establish yourself as the event expert with Axtria marketing and business stakeholders.
  • Manage and negotiate event contracts. Track and reconciliate budget.
  • Effectively design and manage a holistic conference and event calendar. 
  • Develop and produce detailed proposals for events (e.g., timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets). 
  • Identify and secure speakers and develop guidelines for speaker and attendee participation. 
  • Manage operations and logistics – event technology, marketing, signups, room layouts, workshops and demonstrations, AV, speaker needs, catering, collateral and giveaways, executive meetings, produce event related media (photo/video/audio).  
  • Coordinate plans with sales, BD and other marketing team members to promote events and drive attendance, and work with the creative team to establish event branding and signage. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with event and technology vendors, hotels, convention centers, exhibit houses, entertainers, labor, and industry organizations. 
  • Assist the marketing team with creative input and execution support in other areas including content, campaigns, graphics, videos, digital and social channels. 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality degree preferred. 
  • A minimum of 8 years designing, planning and/or managing events, conferences, and/or trade shows – both live and virtual. 
  • Experienced with developing, executing and tracking results tied to multi-touch marketing plans and events.
  • Experience delivering virtual events across time zones and geographies.
  • Experience with online platforms, e.g., Zoom Webinar, CVENT
  • Able to shift gears between thinking and doing across a range of marketing activities like in-person events, virtual experiences, and lead generation activations.
  • Experienced with ROI/financial analysis and lead tracking of events programs.
  • 2+ years people management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.
  • Creative thinker and fast learner, ability to communicate ideas effectively. 
  • Ability to travel as needed. 
Location and Other Requirements
  • Must be willing to work in hybrid model (2-3 days commute to office).
