Here’s what you’ll be doing…
· Your day-to-day work will include developing and deploying comprehensive environmental strategies, programs, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and company goals.
· You’ll lead research initiatives to the identify parts and assemblies containing PFAS chemicals. Recommend alternative materials able to meet environmental and performance standards.
· Participate in work groups that will identify PFAS chemicals in our client’s product portfolio and propose sustainable, compliant alternative materials.
· Document and maintain records relevant to environmental compliance and stewardship programs.
· Assess and stay ahead of emerging environmental trends and evolving compliance regulations - integrating changes into new product development
· Provide expertise on the selection and testing of materials to ensure they meet specifications for mechanical strength, resistance to environmental factors, and other critical properties.
· Respond to environmental questionnaires, inspections, and audits from global regulatory authorities, customers, and special interest groups.

Important Job Details :
· The hourly pay rate is $68-$82 depending on your experience in doing this type of work.
· This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is currently scheduled to go until at least February 2025.
· Work schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday through Friday)
· This position is located in Redmond, WA and you may be required to travel 1-2 times per year, including potential international travel.
· Must pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen.
