Medication Aide Instructor (RN or LPN) - Stellar Senior Living
Join our innovative team as our CMA Instructor and help shape the future of our healthcare education and care delivery in Colorado! We're launching a new stellar program to train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to become Certified Medication Aides (CMA) in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. As a key member of this brand-new program, you'll play a crucial role in developing the program in accordance with CO regulatory guidelines and providing high-quality instruction to aspiring Medication Aides, ensuring they are prepared to be certified course completion and testing.

Your Role:
As the Certified Medication Aide Instructor, you'll be responsible for preparing CNAs to advance their careers and become Certified Medication Aides. You'll provide comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, precepting and ensuring students gain the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum for certified medication aide training
- Provide both theoretical instruction and practical skills training
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other community management and resource nurse to ensure program quality and consistency
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Current CO LPN or RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN or RN
- Previous teaching/staff development experience strongly desired
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and student success
