Responsibilities * Testing to check whether systems and components are working properly * Isolating the systems or components that might have caused a problem. * Consulting with the Shop Foreman or Service Manager on all NPF situations * Driving the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment * Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles * Repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage * Following a checklist in ensuring that, they examine each critical part of the vehicle * Clearly recording the repairs that were needed, the work that was performed and conditions that could not be duplicated on the repair order. * Ability to clearly explain the value of keeping the vehicle serviced as needed * Meet or exceed the dealership’s requirements for a technician’s efficiency, productivity, and proficiency * Attend all required dealership and brand training sessions * Always speak in a positive manner when discussing BMW, MINI Cooper, the dealership, fellow employees, or dealership policies when communicating with the customer or their representatives. * Knows and follows all federal, state, and local laws that govern automobile repair Minimum Requirements * Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm * Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality. * You must provide your own tools. * Valid Driver’s License (Required by all applicants) * Criminal Background Check * 18 years or Older * Must have valid State Inspection and Emissions Licenses * Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. * Able to effectively work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, atmosphere * Mature, honest, reliable, and credible.
