Veterinarian (Full Time)
The Carrollton Animal Hospital is a three-doctor mixed animal practice located in Carrollton, Ohio that predominantly treats cats and dogs with a small, but growing, number of equine clients. We are seeking a talented veterinarian as our practice is experiencing significant growth. Our clinic focuses on preventative medicine assisted by modern diagnostic tools, and clear, caring communication with clients. We are interested in talking to you if you are as dedicated to educating pet parents as you are to treating animals. Additionally, strong teamwork skills will be important as we have a large support staff to assist our doctors in managing their patient’s care.
Job responsibilities include:
Diagnosis and treatment of sick and/or injured animals
Performing and assisting with surgeries
Managing wellness plans, including vaccination schedules and parasiticide compliance
Educating clients on their pet’s treatment plans, including the importance of preventative care
Required Qualifications:
DVM with a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Ohio
Functional knowledge of digital radiography, ultrasonography, and veterinary dentistry preferred
Desire for long-term employment
Excellent bedside manner and good communication skills
Compensation:
Pay starts at $100,000/year for a new graduate, with increased pay for more experienced applicants
