Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Generate short-term and long-term loss forecasts for the budget process. Provide attribution analysis for the changes in forecast and variance vs. actuals. Work with the central loss forecasting team to coordinate the timelines of the processes and provide information as needed. Own end-to-end completion of the annual CCAR and quarterly risk appetite and CECL processes. Work with Finance, Collections, and Risk Strategy to understand changes in the portfolio or strategies and apply overlays as needed. Work with the risk modeling team to make sure the model is working as desired and provide input for improvement on a regular basis. Create presentations for senior management and present the forecast with a clear storyline and data support. Develop and support analytical tools for risk assessment and stress credit evaluations to support the risk appetite framework and strategy integrations. Enhance consistency and efficiency across existing processes and reporting to meet the changing needs of the business. Mentor and coach junior analysts to help them develop their risk management skills and finance knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Modeling Analytics, Credit Portfolio Officer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Modeling Analytics, Credit Portfolio Officer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: SQL; Teradata; Machine Learning based supervised and unsupervised algorithms; Tableau; QlikView; Python; Alteryx; Risk management for consumer lending; Hadoop; Hive; SAS; Predictive Modelling using Logistic and linear Regression; PySpark; AB Hypothesis Testing; Data Mining using Clusters; Time-Series Forecast; Credit Card or other Lending product Analytics.

Job Location: 201 N. Walnut St, Wilmington, DE 19801. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
