Job Description

Come and be a part of our new store! We may be new to Claremore but we are far from new to the motorsports business. This family owned and operated business has over 20 years of experience and we are excited to be opening in your area! Jay Hatfield Motorsports of Claremore is going to need a Service & Parts Manager to oversee the service and parts department, ensuring the efficient and profitable operations. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the motorsports service and parts department
  • Supervise and train service and parts advisors and technician personnel
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service and parts department performance
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and maintaining a customer-focused approach
  • Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee inventory management, including parts ordering, stocking, and returns
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and maximize operational efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Serve as liaison between the store and Human Resources, Accounting and Payroll.
  • Communicate and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates.
  • Provide coaching, resources and training for development to increase all staff’s capabilities and performance
  • Ensure all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
  • File warranty claims
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the motorsports industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive management software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
