Job Description

A private family is seeking a caring and experienced nanny for our 2-month-old baby girl. As first-time parents, we are still discovering our preferences and routines, so we are looking for someone open-minded, patient, and adaptable. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Care: Provide attentive and nurturing care for our baby, ensuring her safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Hygiene: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Our home has a no-shoes policy, and cleanliness is very important to us.
• Engagement: Encourage developmentally appropriate activities such as tummy time, black-and-white visual stimulation, and play.
• Feeding: Prepare and feed formula, sterilize bottles, and assist with managing any feeding-related concerns, including digestive issues and gas.
• Baby Laundry: Wash, fold, and organize baby clothes and linens.
• Toy Sanitization: Regularly clean and sanitize baby toys and play equipment.
• Future Outings: As the baby grows, we’d love for her to enjoy outings and walks, and we’d like your involvement in planning these.

Schedule:

• Full-Time: Approximately 50 hours per week
• Days: 5 days per week (10 hours per day)

Additional Considerations:

• Travel: Domestic and international travel may occasionally be requested but is not mandatory.
• Experience: We prefer someone highly experienced with infants, who can share knowledge and guidance without being overly assertive.
• Personality: Open-mindedness, adaptability, and a calm demeanor are essential qualities for this role.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, commensurate with experience ($35–$45 per hour).
