Title: Network Engineer

Duration: 3+ Months

Location: Dallas, TX (Occasional Travel)

Rate: $55/hr - $65/hr

We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and optimize traffic flow.
• Implement security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
• Support cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Respond to network outages and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Network+, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, SD-WAN, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash).
