Job Description

Shift: 11:00 to 7:30 PM MST (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Looking for Networking Specialist/Jr. Network Engineer

Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISP, Networking, firewalls, switches, and access points
• 1 year of experience in networking or a degree in networking
• Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki (Nice to have)
• Networking certifications (preferred)
• Communication skills Able to communicate properly (verbal & written).

Interview Process: 1 round: Technical questions and cultural fit assessment

Responsibility

• Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems
• Performs engineering design evaluations; may develop a range of products
• Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
• Installs, troubleshoots and maintains products/equipment
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Use various software systems and applications to effectively troubleshoot issues and equipment relating to underlying network connectivity, as well as identify configuration and other related issues with managed services equipment
• Training and mentoring of supported teams

Skills

• May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0 to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
