Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the unit nurses and other healthcare professionals.Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.Take vital signs, blood glucose readings, and monitor intake/output and records patient information accurately.Assist with mobility and positioning of patients to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort.Monitor and report changes in patients conditions to the nursing team promptly.Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.Maintain a clean and organized patient environment to ensure safety and infection control.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to meet patient care goals.Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory policies and procedures.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program and maintain current certification as a CNA by the State of MissouriMaintain Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or preapproved provider.Previous experience in the Medical/Surgical or similar setting preferred.
