A nutritionist who specializes in promoting healthy eating habits and developing personalized nutrition plans for individuals or groups of people pre and post surgery. The primary responsibility is to assess the nutritional needs of our clients, create meal plans, and provide guidance on healthy eating habits to help them achieve their health goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting nutritional assessments of clients, including analyzing their dietary habits, health history, and lifestyle factors.
2. Developing personalized nutrition plans for clients that are based on their individual nutritional needs, preferences, and goals.
3. Providing guidance on healthy eating habits, including portion control, meal planning, and food preparation.
4. Evaluating the effectiveness of nutrition plans and making adjustments as needed.
5. Collaborating with our recovery team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition and incorporating them into practice.
7. Educating clients on the importance of nutrition and the impact of food choices on overall health.
8. Creating educational materials, such as brochures and handouts, on nutrition topics.
9. Participating in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition education.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
2. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification or eligibility for certification.
3. Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and food safety.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Proficiency in using nutrition software and electronic medical/health records.
8. A passion for promoting healthy eating habits and improving overall health.
9. Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic factors that may impact food choices and access to healthy foods.

Salary:

Salary can vary depending on your level of education and experience. 

Commission and patient based pay.
