• performs all processes that relate to the delivery of direct and assistive quality patient care in the C-section room or delivery room.
• Is a member of the surgical team and scrubs and assists surgeons as directed.

• When not assisting with a delivery, the tech will assist with answering call lights and telephones; will pick up meal trays
• Will keep triage room ready for patients, including but not limited to changing linen, cleaning bed space, and emptying trash.
• The tech will also provide basic patient care by assisting patients to the restroom and by transferring patients to triage, radiology, or patient rooms.
• The tech will also be responsible for stocking the department with appropriate supplies to predetermined par levels.
