Job Description

Channel Ship Services Limited is seeking an experienced Offshore Survey Engineer with expertise in 4DNAV technology to support our offshore surveying operations. This role is crucial for successful survey management and the delivery of high-quality data to our clients. We are looking for someone who is either of US/CAN nationality OR hold a B1OCS or the right to work in the USA. The must have 4DNAV knowledge and Sonar dyne Fusion 1 Experience and the SOW is Pipeline Operations.

Software:

• 4DNAV
• Sonardyne Fusion 1
• Visual Soft DVR
• MS Office
• ACAD

2 X ROVs mobilized with the Following:

• Standard ROV Sensors
• Gen 5 Mux
• DVL
• Gyro
• SVX2

Compat Arrays to be set and calibrated in the Field / Array Maintenance

Duration 16-20 Days

Responsibilities

• Execute offshore survey operations using 4DNAV systems.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of survey data throughout projects.
• Collaborate with senior personnel to plan and implement survey methodologies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all survey equipment.
• Compile and analyze data for project-specific reports.
• Assist with training of junior team members and shore-based engineers.
• Follow all safety procedures and standards during operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Geomatics, Survey Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of offshore survey experience, specifically with 4DNAV technology.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and technology.
• Experience with relevant survey software and equipment.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant safety certifications (HSE, QHSE, etc.).
