Outside Sales Representative (Remote - U.S.)

About the Role

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships? We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to join our dynamic team and play a key role in expanding our presence within your assigned territory. In this role, you'll provide valuable industry insights, technical expertise, and in-depth knowledge of our products and services to help customers find the best solutions for their needs.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing anywhere in the Continental United States. You'll report to the Sales Manager and have the flexibility to work independently while driving sales growth.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Travel within your territory for face-to-face meetings with potential and current clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling our products.
Create and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth in your assigned region.
Keep accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales activities.
Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and develop impactful marketing materials.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
Attend industry events, training workshops, and meetings to stay ahead of the latest developments.
Negotiate with potential and existing customers to close deals successfully.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a consultative sales environment.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Experience using CRM systems.
At least 3 years of outside sales experience in packaging or selling to the food, pet food, or coffee industries.
Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

An existing client portfolio in the flexible packaging industry, particularly within food service, food manufacturing, pet food, coffee, or nutraceutical industries.
