Job Description

We are looking for a competitive, sales-driven, and highly-motivated field sales representative to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing your own initiatives and aggressive sales strategies to grow your sales territory. The ideal candidate knows how to get the sale, leaning into their strong communication and interpersonal skills to convert potential customers into new clients.   • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM
  • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met
  • Follow up with potential customers to showcase and highlight our new products or services
  • Develop and execute a strategy to generate new customers in your sales territory
  • Generate and follow up on leads through various channels, including cold calling, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and preferences.
  • Present and explain solar energy solutions, including product options, benefits, and financing opportunities.
  • Provide customized quotes and proposals to clients based on their energy usage and requirements.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Applicants should have 3-5 years of sales experience for this role
  • CRM experience preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree or high school diploma is preferred
  • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Live in the US.
  • Have a US-based phone number.
  • Provide your own computer/equipment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace.
  • Proven experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
