DESCRIPTION :
This position is responsible for managing a singular esport at York College. The Coach will help structure practices and guide students in group practices and competition. This individual will have student success at YCP as one of its primary objectives.



OUTCOME :
Enable an effective program for designated esport at YCP.

• Work closely with the Director of Esports to recruit students to the program from outside and from within YCP. 5%
• Provide esports game coaching. Work one-on-one with students to improve their esports performance. 75%
• Schedule and manage matches and tournaments for NACE, NECC and AVGL tournaments. 10%
• Oversee and manage esports room while present at the college. 10%

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor?s Degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on extensive coaching of multiple esports games and managing schedules and activities
• Extensive personal experience and credentials in specified esport
