We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule: This role is Part Time, will be working 24 hours per week. Shifts are flexible to candidate’s availability. (Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, Lunch 12pm – 1pm)

Location: 8804 N 23rd Ave Ste A01/A02 Phoenix, AZ 85021 (Located inside Terros Behavioral Health)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a patient-facing role located in a community based behavioral health center
• May need to make occasional drop-offs or deliveries when needed, would be about 10% – 25% of the time; will be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Arizona
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
